Weekend shifts with your local police team

Dear residents,

Your local policing team have been busy the last couple of evenings patrolling our anti-social behaviour (ASB) hotspots. During our shifts so far we have;

Stopped and searched eight people in various locations across the ward

had one foot chase which resulted in the person being detained and searched

Searched an abandoned vehicle which is being used for drug use and rough sleeping

Issued seven ASB Warnings to people found committing ASB

Issued two Community Protection Warnings (CPW) - the next stage following an ASB Warning

Issued one Community Protection Notice (CPN) - the last stage following a CPW being issued

Two Community Resolutions accepted - issued for possession of cannabis

Visited residents who are suffering from ASB
